Where is Change Going?

I ask this simple question as I see more and more disturbing reports from the White House.

For example, the economic speech given by President Obama was held at Georgetown University, a Catholic private college. Upon request from the White House, Georgetown was asked to cover up any references to Christ behind the podium "because the presidential speeches have a U.S. flag theme."

Now, before I go on, I have absolutely no idea if other press conferences are run in this fashion. I remember when President Bush gave speeches that there always seemed to be a background that dealt with his speech. Those speeches also seemed to come in neutral places where a background could easily be warranted.

My concern is that this comes so soon after our President denied the Judeo-Christian founding of our nation. It also comes after claims that our government is changing its stance toward Iran and is now open to talks with murderous regimes like that of Cuba and dictators like the one in Venezuela. To top it off, the DHS has cast veterans and anti-abortionists in the same light as eco-terrorists and white supremacists. And what about the incessant desire to allow money to be paid overseas for abortions and embryo stem cell research?

Where is change really going? How many more values of our nation have to be trounced before we reach "change"?

CNN COOPER 1,021,000

I guess my sarcasm about Cooper didn't go over too well...he was dead last. Comedy news outdid CNN! MSNBC and CNN have a right to be angry - people aren't listening to them. So who is really throwing a tantrum.....

Nancy Pelosi's reaction to the Tea Parties - You are AstroTurf - only good enough for being walked on....

By the way, Janeane Garofalo believes anyone who protests unfounded government spending is racist. Here is a link to the racism remarks from a white woman talking to a white man in a white run studio: Olbermann actually calls her "a more serious note"....is that since she has become a expert on the brain? When is her character on 24 going to get the axed? Her character is oppressively boring.

Oh no...I mentioned abortion and tax reform in the same post - does that make me a right-wing extremist racist with a small brain incapable of rational thought? Hope all the friends at my multi-cultural church don't find out {sarcasm - not about the multi-cultural church, that's real}.
