So the results of Pennsylvania are in and Senator Clinton wins by 10 points. I have listened to several talk shows and their take on this.
First, Senator Clinton has proven she has a better handle on the more populated states.
Second, Senator Obama cannot close this out even though he has an apparent insurmountable lead.
To get on my soapbox, I still believe that state primaries should all be held on the same day. Dragging this out is only good for the media who gets to exploit the process a little bit longer.
Off my box, I believe that this is still good for the Republican party. If Senator Obama wins, Senator McCain will probably pull this out very easy. I say this because I hope no one really wants the socialist regime that Senator Obama is promising.
If Senator Clinton pulls this off, it could end up damamging her political aspirations because the only way she can win is with the help of the super delegates. Voters will most likely see this as stealing the nominartion and bolt for the other party (whether that is true or not, we may just find out).
She will deal herself a better hand by graciously bowing out after the next primary.
Oh well, the Republican party sits pretty right now and the election season is just getting shorter.
