The UN Perverts

The United Nations has introduced a policy report telling countries how to teach sex to their populations. Now, this report does have some really good ideas and touches on areas that need to be addressed throughout the world. But, many of the subjects do not need to be taught or championed.

They have introduced a policy report that recommends being "culturally" relevant and teach kids to listen to their religious leaders. Sounds good but is it?

Sex needs to be addressed throughout the world. Sexual problems that include rape, infidelity, abortion, molestation, pornography and improper body imaging have become a prolific scourge upon all nations.

The government, however, is not the best teacher of values nor is it the best place to learn about sex. Here is a few things they suggest every government teach:

• masturbation is pleasurable (ages 5-8) p. 49
• cultural impact of virginity (ages 12-15) p. 49
• sex should be from consent (what about marriage?) (ages 15-18) p. 50
• masturbation is not harmful, is pleasurable, and valid (ages 5-15) p.54
• use of aphrodisiacs (ages 9-12) p. 55
• ways to sexual pleasure other than penetration (ages 12-15) p. 56
• acceptability of homosexual behavior (ages 12-15 and hinted at younger ages) p. 56
• teaches abortion is acceptable (ages 5-8, "Some people are unable to care for a child") p. 57
• abortion and legalities and more (ages 12-15) p. 57
• how to use "emergency contraception" or the abortion pill (ages 12-18) p. 58
• numerous sections on contraception, on how children can choose how and when they can be touch, and AIDS prevention

Yes, they do admit that abstinence is the only way to prevent the transfer of sexual disease or pregnancy but only mentions this twice and immediately follows these with numerous notes on contraception and safe sex.

Yes, sex needs more discussion, but the inept, murderous, rape mongering, thieves of the UN are the last people to be preaching about sexual practices. I guess they lost steam on their false climate claims.

Ban the UN - disband them permanently and save US taxpayers billions!

Two for One Health Care

The leaders of the democrats are shaking. The people are speaking up and out, and they do not like it. So instead of listening any longer, the White House and Congressional leaders have taken it upon themselves to begin plans to force feed all Americans by passing this corrupt bill in two parts.

They continue to insist that no one else is offering up a better plan! Watching Nancy Pelosi and her lies is getting on my nerves. Her latest interview proves she does not want to listen to any other plan except what she is offering. She is so drunk on power that she could never compromise on this or anything because she is so afraid of what history will say about her (though that is already written in stone for the Astro-Smurf). Her only desire is to ignore the uproar, and those with real alternatives, and hope they will go away. Yes and the ocean's will dry up tomorrow.

I am growing angrier and angrier about this topic. Maybe that is why I decided to take a break yesterday.

According to President Obama, the ink is already dry on his signature. The bill to be passed is a sure thing, according to them. I watched part of his "conservative" interview for the radio yesterday. I read a brief on the plea to religious organizations to help help get the word out. He is grasping at straws and finding nothing.

So here we are. Instead of real reform we are getting hogwash from career politicians who do not have any clue about their plan.

Again and again the same questions are being asked by concerned citizens, and not being answered.

• If Medicare and Medicaid are broken, why not fix them first and make sure they are sustainable?
• If the federal government program is that good, and all federal employees like it, why give the public that plus the government option? How would the government option make a great plan any better?
• If we are to keep insurance companies from dropping those who reach their limits or prevent them from denying coverage to those with preexisting conditions, then why not deal with that? Besides that, explain how my rates will not go up due to their accepting thousands who are in that condition?
• Explain to me how private insurance will be able to compete with a government option that will inevitably run costs so low because they can run in the negative due to the unlimited sources of public income that will feed it.
• Why not pass laws that allow the commerce department to regulate interstate purchasing and selling of of insurance? We already do it with educational savings plans!
  

I could go on and on, but my one main questions still goes unanswered, why does the federal government have to have control? Why do they have to be the central clearing house?

Do not be fooled by the foolishness coming out of the feds. They say that they do not want to have complete control now, but give them an inch and they will take us increasingly into a socialized form of health care.

Morally, we need to do something. Ethically, this is not it!

Morality in Politics

I want to tell a story today:

A young man quickly moved up through the ranks in his career. He had great intelligence and wisdom that surpassed the elders who had controlled power for more years than the people were willing to admit. In fact, many of those who had power had corrupted the system to benefit their lifestyles for many years, and they felt very threatened by this young newcomer.

The newcomer made people feel good about themselves and gave them hope as they aspired to make lives better for themselves. This newcomer threatened the status quo of the popular leaders because he was just and did the right things.

A weekly meeting was started in order to find a way to trip up this young man. These corrupt leaders sought many ways to bring this young man down but they could not find anyone brave enough to bring charges against him.

The young man held strong to his faith even though he was hundreds of miles away from his country, having been snatched away by the domination of a powerful army. He only had what his parents had instilled in his life - faith, virtue, truth, and peace. He used these character traits to make a difference in the lives of those around him.

The young man's example had encouraged three friends to stand up for their rights even in the midst of a death sentenced gone wrong. They stood tall and came through the ordeal without the stench of the smoke that was being blown their way.

This young man was becoming a national hero but not to the people he now served. His people had been uprooted from their nation and now worked hard to make a new life in a new land while desperately trying to hold to traditions of old.

The angry elders, failing to find fault with this man, finally decided to do what any desperate sinner does when their guilt is highlighted by the right actions of others. They decided to change the laws in order to attack the young man's religion; a religion of peace and well-being, a religion that brought positive change to the lives of those who followed it, these evil-mongers decided to make it illegal to perform a certain faith practice - the practice of prayer.

This young man did not go into the center of the city to protest this travesty. Instead, he sought the encouragement of God from an upper room in his own home. The hate filled leaders had taken "big brother" tactics to new levels as they set people up to watch for this young man to pray. The spies came back with the report; the evil leaders now had all they needed to have this young man thrown in prison and executed.

Unfortunately, the reluctant head of state had signed into law a law that would condemn to death the one person he could trust to tell the truth. You see, the corrupted leaders had created so many mental viruses that their view of life had to condemn truth because truth led to an upheaval of all the power they had amassed from the lies they spread. They had spent great amounts of money to secure their power, and they would not let a young man ruin it by confirming that absolute truth existed.

For punishment, the young man was cast into the presence of Death. Beleaguered, the young man turned to his only source of hope. He knelt before death but prayed to life. Death was taken aback at the tenacious prayer being presented. Death had long awaited this opportunity to punish the faith of those who believed in the one true God. Death had wanted to crush the spirit of those who held to this "worthless" following, but only because Death wanted truth to be crushed so he could rule the helpless with his rules for life.

Death had spend centuries developing religions to counter this one belief in the one true God. His followers amounted in the millions yet they mattered not to him. He wanted total control. He wanted to hurt the very One who had given him life. Distorting the truth was just the beginning. He had already drawn up plans for a new religion that would mar the truth and combine religious views of this faith with others. He was poised now to release his vengeance, and it started with this young man caught in the middle of the fight between good and evil.

Now was the moment for Death to strike and cut the throat of one who embodied this faith. Death prepared to leap upon his his intended victim, but something happened that was unseen by this prevaricator of hate. Light stepped between him and this young man. Truth prevailed, and the young man was set free.

Now this is a true story. It is my version of the story of Daniel and his brush with death at the hands of leaders who wanted him dead for his faith.

Daniel's story still rings true today. Men and women seek desperately to eradicate Christianity from our founding history. They seek to disparage truth by claiming absolute truth does not exist. They teach it to our children in school. They make laws about it in our courts. They have attacked the reading of the Bible. They fight hatefully to end prayer. They embrace counter cultures and faiths that counter Christianity.

What is their desire? Simply to hurt God. Daniel's story is now our story. Look at how the politicians of our day use faith for gain instead of being men and women like Daniel who used faith to guide and guarder his life. Who could argue against this:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)

I like how Eugene Peterson puts this:

But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.
Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way.

Hope you enjoyed the story, but I hope you do not let the story end here. Our nation was founded on principles of faith that saw the equality of all men and women while providing for the rights granted by God. Know the truth and the truth will keep us free!

Evil-Mongers, AstroTurf and Mobs, Oh My

Harry Reid calls us evil-mongers. Nancy Pelosi calls us astro-turf, and the White house calls us a mob.

I guess they are hearing it. They are so frightened that name calling continues to be ratcheted to higher levels.

What would they say if I called Harry Reid an witch hunter (one who seeks to demonize anyone who opposes them)? What if I called Nacy Pelosi an Astro-Smurf (someone who is fake and ultra-liberal)? What if I called the White House mob bosses (wait, I already do that)? I had to define each of those for the small mindedness of these leaders.

George W. Bush called the despots of this world evil. As William McGurn so handily points out, Ronald Reagan called the Soviet empire evil.

But when have we ever seen a politician call Americans evil?

First, let's look at the definition of this term (sorry, today is definition day). A monger in this since is person promoting something undesirable or discreditable.

Since evil is used as an adjective, let's explore that word according to dictionary.com:

1. morally wrong or bad; immoral; wicked: evil deeds; an evil life.
2. harmful; injurious: evil laws.
3. characterized or accompanied by misfortune or suffering; unfortunate; disastrous: to be fallen on evil days.
4. due to actual or imputed bad conduct or character: an evil reputation.
5. marked by anger, irritability, irascibility, etc.: He is known for his evil disposition.

So, if you put it together, an evil monger is a liberal democrat, no, no: is a person who with malice and discontent seeks to bring harm to those weaker than themselves in hopes to promote their undesirable goods or services.

A monger was originally a peddler of goods. So as an evil monger, a person who disagrees with the leaders of the democratic party is selling a load of junk. Isn't that why Americans are mad?

Aren't we angry because of the load junk being forced on us by our current leaders? Socialism, the global warming farce, the wasted stimulus, and more are all pouring out of the mouths of those who say they are taking a higher moral ground.

Now, the president is going to spin his ideas again but this time he plans on playing on the emotions of people. The White House has turned to psychological warfare in order to win at all costs. And if that doesn't work, the democrats are threatening (along with the White House) to throw a tantrum by forcing us to swallow the goods they are peddling.

The real mongers are those who are trying to force this bad legislation through without the support of the citizens of this great country. The definition of evil says it is marked by anger and irritability. The response of the citizens isn't a mark of anger because we are not the ones trying to peddle junk. The reaction of the leaders, however, to how negatively people are responding to their peddling turns the table on Mr. Reid. Spin it anyway you want but you are still left with a bad piece of legislation.
